Sorry this was suppose to be a link with an embed. It was not. I have been trying to get around to the old version of google map, with out landia. it's tough to find.
Anyone know why, bloggers?

Stettin Location on Google Map for Charles Maves Family

Charles MAVES, MEWS, MEWES was from Stettin, Pommern. I wouldn't be surprised if the other family surnames were as well.
I have given you a few sites that you might want to check. You can see that Stettin is now Szczecin, Poland. Vorpommern or was called Pommern. It will probably be a difficult area to research. Though family search .org has some earlier data before 1800.
